Premier Inn Wells (Somerset) hotel

An excellent Premier Inn. Special mention to all the staff. They are helpful, polite and positively interact with guests, not just serve. Special special mention to chef, tourist information provider and Premier Inn asset Ray. He is exceptional and the rest of the team follow his lead. Hotel is not in a particularly scenic spot but is very convenient for town/city and country walks. Paid-for parking on the doorstep was easy. Wells city and it's Premier Inn made for one of our most pleasurable short breaks

Really convenient hotel, good prices for sure and decent deals on breakfast. Would recommend if you need a rest up over night. Beds are really comfy and does come with some tea supplies in room.

The staff were friendly and efficient. Room 8 in really good nick for it's age. Hotel is clean throughout. Special mention for Ray (of sunshine) or Chef. The food was the best we've had so far this year at a premier inn and we stay at a lot. Rays brekky was perfect and this man should be sent round as our personal chef please thanks all for a great overnight stay

We stayed here for 5 days while on holiday in Somerset. This is definitely one of the better Premier Inn's we've stayed at. Location is great with Morrison's opposite and a short walk through the supermarket car park into the city centre. We ate breakfast and a couple of dinners in the restaurant and were well looked after by Ray the Chef, Sophie and Dylan. I have a food allergy and Ray made sure all was safe and cooked a tasty breakfast. Car park is chargeable but this understandable due to distance from the centre and also ensures there is no trouble finding a space. We would definitely consider staying here again if in the area.

A clean and well maintained hotel. Was virtually empty. Staff were very attentive. Had a lovely stay.

We had a brilliant stay here during the last bank holiday weekend. Great rooms and facilities - all in top condition (including the air con on a very warm weekend). Luke and his colleagues were always welcoming, attentive, and ready to assist with every request - from temporarily storing some cheddar from our visit to Cheddar, to sending over a pair of jeans that were left behind. The chef (too) was very considerate and helpful with his dietary recommendations for the vegans in our party. Overall, a better experience than many 4* hotels!

Cant rate the team highly enough for their awesome customer service! I arrived late after a long journey and Raymond, his daughter Carly and Dylan all made sure I was fed. So unusual to find somewhere with such a great team! Thank you, I really appreciate your kindness.

The hotel was clean the beds are very comfortable and the linen is soft so we had a lovely sleep. I also liked the fact the beds are quite high so nice and easy to collapse in and out of! A special mention to Luke who worked really hard to make sure we had a great stay. He’s very warm and friendly with a smile.
